Purchasing of your
Ex-Lease Equipment
The Computer Market purchases commercial quantities of IT equipment from all government and industry sectors. Please call us or submit the form below if you’d like us to contact you regarding having us quote to purchase your old equipment.
The Computer Market procures superfluous equipment including Dell, Apple, Lenovo and HP PCs and Servers, then quality checks, repairs (where necessary), cleans, asset registers, warrants, then loads with Operating Systems or Application licence images.
Firstly, we obtain a list, so as to pre-value and quote your computers. On agreeance to the valuation, we receive the units, inspect to see if the computers are in working order and the specification described. We provide you a summary of the equipment and pay the agreed or amended amount typically within two weeks of receiving the equipment from you.
The Computer Market can handle all aspects of pickup and transport, remarketing, recycling, asset disposal, pickup and transport to one central contact location.
As a well established company, we will offer market value for your unwanted assets, with the surety of strict confidentiality. Any assets that do not meet the age of resale will be recycled in accordance with ISO standards. Hard drives data that is sensitive in nature, can be wiped or destroyed with certification.
Any assets deemed viable for resale, can have the added service of data destruction prior to any resale. Our services can include standard 1 pass HMG standard or 3 pass Department of Defence level wipe of the data from servers, PC’s & Laptops. (Certification can be supplied where necessary).
Once processed many of the computers are sold or donated to RTOs in Australia, as well as schools and colleges in The Pacific islands and PNG. This creates a massive change in the amount of IT landfill displacement.
